Tell him Daniel sent you and he’ll look after you ! agree, Im going through lifestyle as well Re: Home Theater Installation 10Oct 15, 2018 11:30 pm Too many variables, what outlets, conduits and provisions you require depends on what you want out of your home theatre system, which then decides which equipment needs to run, which in the end you will then plan on provisions, wall points and conduits to run cables to connect all equipment. Will you have wall mounted TV's ? - if Yes what devices will connect to each TV Will you have a projector in any room. Will you have surround sound, or any wall mounted speakers. Very important with a 2 story house as certain cabling can be difficult or not possible to be done once house is complete. Will you want any of the above to be installed at a later date, or far in future and want to plan for it? You might want to get a consultation from the smart wiring company that your builder uses if possible, or hopefully if they are helpful enough can guide you through it. If you just want to grab them something decent without any fuss a Subwoofer/satellite 5.1(4 satellite speakers, center speaker and powered subwoofer)speaker system from Paradigm Acoustics,Definitive Technology or Atlantic Technology, a good surround receiver from Marantz or Yamaha & a DVD player from Oppo or Yamaha wired up with basic Audioquest wiring will probably blow them away...Spend some time setting everything up along with some light acoustic treatments if you get any echo in the room(walk around clapping hands and you’ll hear it)..A Set Up/Video Calibration DVD is cheap and will allow you to get the best out of the system... . Re: Home Theater Installation 13Mar 29, 2019 3:49 am I have noticed that trend is that DVD players are dying and everything is moving towards on-demand streaming content. Ideally you would need high speed internet connection near your theatre. You can also test out if surround sound bar will be a better option to multiple speakers e.g.: https://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-YSP-5600- ... I could probably rip the old… 0 5200 Thanks Simon, I guess I'm no concerned with the volume of the noise rather that dead and hollow sound and feel that is associated with floating floors. But I'm not sure… 3 6163 |
