Hi,
I would like to start a topic about things, in my mind, which a modern 21st century house won't be required to have any more (considering that the house is already connected to NBN cable broadband) specifically:
TV antennas - no one is using those any more as everything is digital those days. Complete obsolete.
Data points for your TV - most of the modern TVs can connect to Wi-Fi and run smart apps in them, therefore, do not require any external data points, unless you want to stream a movie directly from Hi-End player or have wireless issues, you don't need a wired data point near/for your TV.
Phone lines - pretty much same thing. Why would anyone want fixed phone line those days? As long as you have Cable broadband for your Internet, it is completely obsolete, to my mind. Even without broadband connection, wireless 4G modems can serve the purpose, too.
Interested to hear other opinions.
