Im considering having the lounge at about the 3m mark to accomodate the rear bookshelf speakers being on stands behind the lounge. 2. - How close can the bookshelfs be to the wall? You should really go into a a store such as Big Picture people or any local store that specializes in home theatre. They will have some of this stuff setup and you can take a look at get an idea on sizes etc Re: Home Theatre Advice 3Aug 05, 2015 7:14 pm Definitely want to check out what specialists have. For your speakers you need to see if they are rear ported, if they are they will more than likely need to be further from the wall. Screen size is up-to what you want and definition. I will be having two rows with first row just over 3m back and my screen is a 160 inch scope screen.
