Very sweet unit with impedance matching too! Re: In-Wall Source/Speaker Selector 3Jun 26, 2008 8:05 am Yeah but Micjod is looking for one that allows you to select between 2 different source amplifiers as well.
I had a bit of a look last night before the wild wind kindly rebooted my PC! I didn't find anything like what Mic has pictured... Of course, there are other, neater ways to do it. Why would you want 2 different amplifiers when you can have 1 with multiple sources plugged into it? Any stereo, or surround for that matter, receiver will give you multiple sources connected to a single amp. P.S. The wall-mounted speaker selector Matt is referring to is this, and it is pretty cool: http://www.jamo.fi/Default.aspx?ID=1724 Re: In-Wall Source/Speaker Selector 4Jun 26, 2008 9:16 am thank you so far for your help matt and rodda
what i am trying to achieve is i want to be able to run my out door speakers in my alfresco from either my home theatre amplifier or the amplifier in my living room. Re: In-Wall Source/Speaker Selector 5Jul 01, 2008 2:24 pm I'm no expert on this but was looking to do something similar. I saw these guys at the Melbourne home show and it seems that they have what you are looking for:

Re: In-Wall Source/Speaker Selector 8Jul 01, 2008 5:53 pm Hi mate.
Could you show us a pic or describe what you found? I couldn't find what you were descibing in their catalogue... Re: In-Wall Source/Speaker Selector 10Jul 02, 2008 11:35 am Fair enough mate. Gotta tell ya, no matter how hard I try I can't find it online at their web site (other than it's appearance in that catalogue). Re: In-Wall Source/Speaker Selector 11Jul 02, 2008 6:52 pm i was exactly the same i got the catalogue on friday
and i spent alot of time on-line looking for it over the weekend with no luck i am still trying to find the specs on it as the instructions are pretty ordinary but every thing points to it being exactly the same as this one http://www.smarthome.com/8282abw.html Thank you again Simeon.. I will call my certifier for that. Have a good day 4 5099 I am saying that double brick has similar thermal performance due to thermal mass effect. It will be still very interesting to see the state of your framing after 10-15… 10 29655 |
