Heard all those jokes, but I always heard drummer in place of bass player. Plus bass players are always the hottest members of the band for some reason!! Both Matt and I are bass players! I hereby decree it a sin to bash bass players in this forum! And with most of the guys we played with (completely separate), if anyone had issues with key, rhythm or pace (and certainly brains) it wasn't either of us.... You actually find quite a few bass players are guitarists, they're just the only ones with the plumbs (or don't need the ego stroking as much) to put it aside so that the rest of the band actually have a bass player to play with... Blackie Lawless anyone? Re: This is cool! - 10 stunning ultra-geeky home cinemas 29Jun 23, 2008 8:29 pm Hey Kryten, have you seen the Duran Duran Live From London DVD? It rocks in a big way (despite some audio sync issues...). John Taylor sounds pretty damned good on it too... Re: This is cool! - 10 stunning ultra-geeky home cinemas 30Jun 23, 2008 8:34 pm Haven't seen that one Rodda, but Foxtel was showing an old documentary from the 80's over the weekend - I had me a good drool and a bit of an singalong - just as well my cat isn't a singing critic Dana -------------------------- Building with DFH - carpet installed! Re: This is cool! - 10 stunning ultra-geeky home cinemas 31Jun 23, 2008 8:54 pm Hey Rodda,
How about a bass player themed home theatre? That would be some type of ...ahem.. dream for you wouldn't it? Jo I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. (apart from the statues) The star trek ones seemed a lot more recognisible. The indiana one was egypt based but i thought indy went everywhere but.
