You are da man...thanks mate. I'll look into it the Lora 4 seater looks really good for $2800. What are you thoughts on the quality? Anyhow thanks again. Cheers tristan PS. To everyone else..don't want to blow my own trumpet but i'm a guru at MythTV and Windows MCE so if anybody needs assistance feel free to post their questions. Re: Home theatre seats 10Jul 23, 2008 2:10 pm hey Matt
i know the site but i'm not that active there... but i do love MythTV at the moment. I'm in the process of building my house (permit stage) and i have a 5m x 4.8m room. My set up is as follows: - Sanyo Z4 projector (got a great deal with a spare bulb and 120inch screen) - Onkyo 805 series - Aperion speakers (would love to get comments from anyone regarding these speakers) I think they are great without breaking the bank..heavy as hell. - Running VistaMCE but i think i will change over to MythTV soon (its going throught its change control now ) - Everything is networked to my bedroom (where i'm running myth right now) plus my MediaServer Anyone has anythoughts on using the screen vs the goo gel you can buy? thanks smeags. Re: Home theatre seats 11Jul 23, 2008 5:39 pm Get a screen. Easier, guaranteed result, and you can relocate it if you need to. Re: Home theatre seats 12Jul 23, 2008 7:36 pm Leather is generally no good for acoustics, one way around it is to have some throw rugs to cover seats that people aren’t sitting in or use perforated leather to assist with absorption. We went for the Berkline style of seating with electric reclines.

Sorry to the AV guys but not everyone sees the value of a dedicated HT room, I want the same level of comfort when I watch Lateline, footy, or a DVD without going into a separate room with yet another set of furniture. And it can be done with sleeker furniture....one of the reasons we picked our current lounge is that it gave us 3 seats in the space of what most sofas only offer 2.5.....but if you want a recliner it seems to be all puff.
