Which software are you using for the HTPC? Most HTPC front ends are designed for use with a remote rather than a keyboard so you might be better off with one of them instead. It was always handy for me to have a remote when surfing, email etc on the net! Hard with a remote... The keyboard doesn't get much use, but try to remember that if you do plan on doing some typing on a regular basis (e-mails...) then a tiny keyboard you operate with your thumbs may not be the best option...
