Hey guys,
I've been trawling the forums and doing some research but fear that I'm missing a fair bit for the electrical appointment.
Home Theater
H/T room dimensions 3.8 X 4.
I'd be able to control light in there so thinking projector.
I can think of
1) Wiring for projector with outputs for HDMI (Blue Ray / DVD Player), VGA, speakers? What do I need to hook up an XBOX?
2) Enough power points to plug in projector, blue ray, XBOX, laptop.
3) Enough data points for connecting multiple devices.
Rest of the house
1) data points (estate is NBN ready), telephone points, Foxtel.
2) Any tips for home networking or just enough repeaters to ensure wireless across the house or better to have Cat 5 / Cat 6 cabling?
3) Surge protector
4) Is it a good idea to have cabling to have a universal viewing experience from multiple tvs across the house?
5) Antennae install? TV Conduit?
6) External junction boxes?
I know this is fairly high level and I know future proofing would get the budget to sky rocket..
Any tips appreciated.
Cheers,
Maverick
