We're building with PD and would like to know if anyone has been allowed to have the home theatre prewiring done by someone else other than PD?
Our administrator told as legally they don't allow it but if we get a nice site supervisor we could. I want it to be in our contract to state that we are allowed as I don't want to get to that stage and be told no! Anyone built with PD and done this?

Hmm I'd also like to know this, while I don't have a home theatre I need set up, I was hoping to get Matt out (;)) to put some cabling for a few wall mounted plasmas and the infra-red repeating kit (thingamabobby ) so I can watch foxtel etc on all TV's...
We are building with PD too btw..

I know that Perry has done some pre-wiring to his Cremorne...
And also Mike...
I have also spoken to our SS and he said it was fine for us to come in also, so therefore I think if you speak to your SS it should be OK too. As for getting it in the contract - hmmmm ... I doubt they will allow it - but worth a shot anyway
Built 'Cremorne 41' with PD - Handover took place in Nov '08
