Browse Forums Home Theatre & Automation 1 Mar 13, 2013 10:39 am Hi, our builder has made provision for a wall phone in the kitchen, ie plug/socket thingy is mounted in wall at face height, but I much prefer a cordless phone for mobility, but I am having no success in the stores to buy a wall mounted cordless. I have a Phillips cordless phone but it wont attach to the wall (without the handset falling off). Has anyone got or seen a wall mounted cordless phone, if they even exist, or is there another way of getting around this problem. I also dont have a power point beside the phone point, but Im willing to have one put in if needed. Any suggestions please? Re: Cordless wall phone? 2Mar 13, 2013 12:38 pm Hi There are plenty of wall mountable cordless phones. Most of the Uniden phones can be wall mounted. For example - http://dicksmith.com.au/product/F7871/u ... less-phone and http://dicksmith.com.au/product/F7869/u ... less-phone - They tend to stick out a little rather sitting flush like a traditional wall phone. This is another option - http://dicksmith.com.au/product/F7989/u ... less-phone - it combines a corded wall phone and a cordless handset. You could also just put a small shelf on the wall next to the phone socket. What ever you decide you will need a power point nearby.
