We have a 26" LCD tv that we want to mount on the wall in the family room.
The spot that we have chosen on the wall doesn't have a stud. Is there any way of mounting it without a stud?

You need a stud and there are lots of different ways to acheive this but I would suggest this: The bracket mounts to the wall on the stud and the Tv remains in the alloted position using the offset of the bracket..
