Currently in the latter stages of building a new house with a home theatre - room is 4mx5m. The aircon guys cut the hole for the duct right in the middle of the room. I am going to be mounting the projector directly behind it by about ~1.5m. Would this affect the projector throw at all? I would hate to hook it all up and when the aircon is on, the breeze coming out of the duct affecting the view. Re: Aircon duct in Home Theatre 2Aug 28, 2012 9:10 pm Yes and no. Obviously it is based on the Projector you have. The other issue you have is the cold air blowing in the path of the image. Both hot and cold air (more hot) can affect the path of light and this needs to be a consideration when mounting the PJ too. What model are you considering?
