Browse Forums Home Theatre & Automation Re: Height to mount LCD 21Mar 26, 2008 11:09 am I want the mercury one! Too bad it costs more than the TV itself!!!
Hubby was suggesting last night that we knock a hole in the wall (but properly) and recess it, which would have been a great idea if suggested when we were building the house 4 months ago!!! Matt - The TV is a 40inch Sony LCD. Not sure what mounting it has on the back - but have the book at home with info on it. I might talk to hubby to see if he wants to be able to swing it out so it can be faced at the kitchen bench so we can still see it while cooking, although even without we could probably see it from the side anyway. Steve you need to get yourself a couch _________________ Paula Got one I just tend to try and watch TV standing up - as it's a bit of a stop time wasting rule. If the show is not good enough to watch standing up - then turn the thing off and do something else. Works well. I should do the same with the internet too re mounts - we've used these to mount Panel PC's on walls at various times. Very solid and very flexible. http://www.ram-mount.com Steve Re: Height to mount LCD 24Mar 28, 2008 8:26 pm Quote: I just tend to try and watch TV standing up - as it's a bit of a stop time wasting rule. Once the plasters done, time for a bit of paint Then off to Cairns for 2 weeks and a bit of reef diving, yakking and R&R in April CYA for now. Steve Re: Height to mount LCD 27Mar 29, 2008 4:54 pm Are you tall and very slim ? I might be able to squeeze you into my kayak paddle bag
re some have the life Hey you're building a new house, I choose to have nice holidays (often) and reno the houses myself It's all about priorities. Which ones do you want the most, is the ones you should be focusing on. Steve PS My paddle bags only 1.8 metres long so if you're any taller, you might get a crook neck because you'll be be in there for a few days while I have a stopover in QLD with my parents on the way up and back OK You can hop out of it while we're not in the air Re: Height to mount LCD 28Mar 29, 2008 5:26 pm Quote: PS My paddle bags only 1.8 meters long so if you're any taller, you might get a crook neck because you'll be be in there for a few days while I have a stopover in QLD with my parents on the way up and back Thats better than I thought, I will be stretched out...thought I'd be folded over and scrunched up Quote: re some have the life Hey you're building a new house, I choose to have nice holidays (often) and reno the houses myself It's all about priorities. Told DH that if the building wasnt going to start till next year, we had to have a holiday first! DH works so hard I convinced him he would need one!
