All we have at this stage is a 550 high cabinet with banks of draws. I'll be having ( hopefully attractive) floor standing speakers which will sit on top of the cabinet as well as a subwoofer and a centre channel speaker. My partner is not keen on having floor standers - but I'm giving her no choice in this, however to appease her I'm thinking of redoing the joinery to house the subwoofer and the centre channel speaker. Acoustically, are the any issues in having these speakers living insider the joinery? Alternatively I could have the centre channel as an in wall speaker, but the sub has to live somewhere.
