Even I say this is way too much, especially for a room that's not even that big.... (seen plenty of big time home theatres in mags like A/V Interiors that were bigger than this).
I myself, if I had a much, much larger disposable income, can easily see how I could spend tens of thousands of dollars on audio and video hardware - no problem at all, but I can't see why having as many speakers as this bloke could add anything other than confusion and clutter.... , and the money spent could have gone somewhere better.... Keep in mind though, he is a special individual case - used to work for Chesky Records who were/are the world leaders in high-end audio recording and reproducion... But that's probably why I've still got a 20-inch CRT TV with an inbuilt fondness for the colour green.
