But when you see big projector screens you sit closer. Personal choice I think. Should have provided the guy who i purchased from my room plans, he thought i said 4m from lens to screen so what i have needs 3.9m to fill the 110 inch So now i have 4 or 5 inches of vacant space either at either side, as room is 4m total Not ideal but as its a fixed screen he wont swap it... Almost perfect size any bigger would have been too big. Should have put it further back but the builder put a heating vent smack bang centered at the rear of the ceiling in a theatre room? The only way you'll get a poor image is if you think you're going to watch crappy downloaded content or some SD TV. For me perfect, but I know I could still have another row of seats in front, no problems. You will learn to enjoy blu ray on the big screen very quickly... Amazing quality, so I cant really see a problem. If you get your projector before you buy your screen, use it on a white wall to try out and measure. That way you will know if you like distance versus size. You can adjust the couch to the desired distance from the screen and try it for yourself! As someone mentioned above you also need to check you actual projectors throw recommendations.
