In the lounge, sit in your lounge chair and you need to be looking straight ahead at eye level, thats where it should go. In the bedroom whatever prone position you are most comfortable with is where it should be. On the ceiling above your head even works. Re: Wall mounted TV height 4Aug 16, 2011 4:44 pm The ideal height is to have the TV mounted so that the bottom third is approximately 1100mm from the ground (ie about the same height as your light switches.) This changes though if you are using a tilting bracket. You can put the TV much higher and still achieve the correct viewing angle by simply tilting the TV down a little. The best place to put your TV however is in the most aesthetically pleasing position on the wall and purchase bracket to suit that spot!
