Browse Forums Home Theatre & Automation 1 Aug 15, 2011 2:05 pm Hi All, I have a set of In ceiling Jamo speakers that I want to use for both my Home Theatre system (rear two speakers) & new Sonos ZP120. Does anyone know of a switch that can take audio input from two sources and output to the one set of speakers? I think i need something like this (but would prefer to buy locally) http://www.crutchfield.com/S-mxwzKAv9pS ... ml?tp=1846 Thanks Re: One set of speakers, two sources? 2Aug 16, 2011 1:54 pm Haven't seen anything like the Niles one in your post but I have seen speaker switch boxes that can handle two sources. Usually to more than 1 set of speakers but you can only wire up one set if you want. Radio Parts has them. A particular one I've seen is the SS24V. Doing a quick Google, I also found this; http://www.digitalcentre.com.au/p/45666 ... witch.html Build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=34120 Handover 23 Dec 11 Squatting 21 Dec 11 Fixed 12 Oct 11 Plastered 31 Aug 2011 Framed 7 June 2011 Site Start 7 Feb 2011 Land Titled 18 Jan 2010 Land Deposit 25 Jun 2009 Re: One set of speakers, two sources? 3Aug 17, 2011 6:27 pm Some systems like hai hifi 2 or nuvo and russound have local source interrupt modules. If the keypad for the zone is off, then the source automatically switches to say your surround sound systems rear channels. It's a pretty good way to combine ceiling speakers with multi zone music and a tv surround setup. my house blog: http://sugarloafdrivebuild.blogspot.com/ Re: One set of speakers, two sources? 4Aug 17, 2011 7:44 pm Hi, you can get simple speaker selector boxes from jaycar that will handle this or alltronics hope this helped chris Electrical - Automation - Smart wiring - New homes - Commercial - Data cabling] 1300 050 315 www.cenemelectrical.com.au www.facebook.com/cenemelectrical "is it exempt or do I need to get permission from council" Call your Council and ask them 1 1558 Thank you so much.
