Probably not the best thread title, but was wanting a bit of guidance.
In our last house, we had Foxtel, but were able to watch it in 2 other rooms. From the cables between the Foxtel box and the TV we had a splitter and cox cable running to the two different rooms. This was basically so we could set the foxtel when we went to bed and watch a bit of TV. The downside was not being able to change the channel once in bed, but honestly it didn't really worry us too much.
So, we're building again and wondering what the best solution is. We're getting two Foxtel boxes this time around - one in the main TV area and the other in the kids TV area, but we'd still like the option of watching something on Foxtel in our bedroom. Unfortunately, our builders' sparky weren;t willing to do that sort of stuff this time around, so we'll have to get someone to do it post-handover.
So what's the best solution (and when I say best I mean best for our situtation and budget!) for doing this? Running component cable through the house in a fashion to last time? I'm not exactly up-to-speed with any options I've got.
