My ceiling speakers, LCD and bracket...

Well we finally got all the cabling done around the house!!!

No more plaster dust falling from my plaster saw...

The in ceiling speakers in the alfresco and the formal lounge are now in and hooked up into the main entertainment hub.

I also took the time to paint the surrounds and grills to match the ceilings. The speakers only tend to come in white and I felt it stood out too much against the colour we already had.

The living room is finished too. We elected to go for a very clean look in this room.

The TV (LCD) is mounted in the corner of the room and appears to be floating off the wall.

After a few clever ideas from Rod (rodda) instead of having the TV on a unit with all the DVD's / Foxtel etc we went with this idea. The TV is connected into the entertainment hub via the wallplates behind allowing you to watch and control foxtel from another room.

The little silver/black thing in the top left hand corner of the TV is a receiver for the remote control. This relays back to the foxtel box and controls it just like it was right in front of you.

Clever...
