We just bought a 60" inch 3D TV full HD plasma but later on realized that the screen could be bigger if we opt for projector Re: is there a 1080P 3D projector in Australia? 11Jul 25, 2011 9:38 pm Are they better - yes because they are larger!! ...but each has their benefits. A Plasma can be used all the time and never needs the lamp replaced, can be used in bright light environments and can be cheaper. A projector gives a larger image, tends to be better bang for buck etc. It is not really that one is better than the other just that each is great in the correct environment. If you don't want to annoy the neighbours then simply get yourself some good head phones. For me the sound is much better using headphones.
