xbox 360 wont connect Hi there , I am now the proud owner of 2 xbox 360's. I did have one connected and it worked quite well gut I deleted it from the extender manager (media center 2005 edition). John got a new X-Box 360 for christmas and has tried to connect it as a media extender in the bedroom (swapped over the other one that was up and running). It gave him an 8 digit code and now every time he tries to connect the 360, first up it comes up with the 'invalid key' information and then it asks me to reconnect. However when I hit the reconnect button, it flashes up a new code for less than a second before telling me that the connection data is invalid again.... and so we go round in circles. How do I fix this ?? Also, my old xbox 360 didnt have an 8 digit code, instead the code was something like MCX1360 (or something like that. Will I be able to get the old one back on line ?? I need this working by the time he goes back to Brisvegas on Monday morning!!!!!! Heeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllpppppppppppppppppppppp Re: X-Box as media extender 2Jan 02, 2008 7:56 am Hi Amber.
Neither Matt nor I have every owned an XBox or XBox 360 so we have no experience with trying to set them up as Extenders. You really need to go to http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/ and speak to the forum members there. Many of those guys are using XBoxes as Extenders. it always has been. from day 1. Ive been lucky enough not to have to deal with it as always bene in a greenfields estate every time ive needed to get it so has been… 7 3557 Older boxes had a dialup modem for the return path in the days before they had ethernet and wifi. As for the rest, even deenergised, you will require a licensed data… 1 3531 Absolutely. It is regulated work and plumbers can also only perform the work for which they are licensed. 14 4355 ![]() |
