Browse Forums Home Theatre & Automation 1 Apr 03, 2011 9:14 am I hope someone can help me with the best positionning of power outlets and aerial plug for my TV and DVD player etc. At present we have a wall cavity which has been created by having a jetmaster open fire place. It is 3.8 m long and around 600mm deep, the fireplace is at one end and the other end is for the TV. We are planning on hanging the TV flat on this wall with a built in cabinet underneath. We have an amplifier, 2 DVD players, wii and playstation and may have a stereo if I can work out how to set it up! The electrician has already placed speaker wire in the ceilling What would be the best place for the power? Behind the TV or down in the cabinet? The cabinet space is large, we have left a space of around 1400w by 700h. Is there anything else that would help with this set up? I am not very savvy with electronics and would like to have it all done correctly when I can and not regret later. thank you in advance Re: help with where to place power outlets and aerial 2Apr 03, 2011 9:42 am leanne27 I hope someone can help me with the best positionning of power outlets and aerial plug for my TV and DVD player etc. At present we have a wall cavity which has been created by having a jetmaster open fire place.
