I've just taken a look at your blog and your home theatre in particular. You've undoubtedly been asked these questions before and there's probably an answer somewhere in this forum, but I'll ask anyway. 1) What is the size of your home theatre room? 2) If you had a magic wand, what size room would you change it to? 3) What is the size of the rasied floor section at the rear (height and depth)? 4) What is the thing at the rear of the room that looks like a screen? Took another look at your blog (congratulations on over 10,000 hits!). Your home theatre looks better the more pictures I see. If your screen wall is 4 meters wide then that would make your screen, if my calculations are correct, 135". That's one large screen. Is it 135"? Do they come any bigger for domestic use? I've noticed that you've broken from "conventional wisdom" and do not have an LCD TV as well as the projection system. Does this mean that the Theatre room is only used for the occasional movies? I like the idea of using the Theatre room for everyday watching of TV and would be interested in how you've set up your room and what you think. I also like the idea of using just a projection system, but as already mentioned elsewhere, I would have to consider the running costs considering the relatively short life of the projector bulbs and their high cost. I'll let Matt answer for himself but I need to chuck my own 2 cents worth in here... I f**king love them! They K.F.A. Don't get me wrong, I love my Elan MP800W In-wall fronts as well - they are exceptionally nice for In-walls, but Matt's Paradigm Monitor 11 floorstanders are something else again!! (the CC-390 centre ain't half bad either). Re: Matt, some questions about your home theatre 11Dec 27, 2007 10:42 am ![]() I f**king love them! Certainly looks a nice homely room to sit back and enjoy a few brews, and the odd movie. Old Home Restoration / Renovation Hi All, I am planning to convert my theatre room to 4th bed, is it worth or can we do it with the plan I have attached Thanks for taking your time Regards, Harry 0 1675 6 5974 Thank you so much for the effort.
