Hi I am starting the process of building a house with PD in a new estate with fibre optic connections.
PD have offered a Smart Wiring package through Argus Technologies which is pretty ordinary and relies on distributing everything through the Starserve system. I have not heard good things about these systems so am looking to put in the structured cabling post handover. Can anyone suggest the conduit size i should run throughout the house to accomodate Cat6 cables? I am planning to get the builder to run conduits and blanking plates to all areas in which i will put data/tv/foxtel points. Or is there a better way to do things as the builder will not allow external contractors onsite during the build (my preferred option obviously)?
Also if anyone can suggest a knowledgable contractor for this installation in the Geelong area it would be much appreciated (I don't know too much about data/tv etc distribution systems)
Thanks in advance for your help, let me know if you need me to clarify anything.
