Been that way for a few years. From the opinions offered and expertise sourced by users here, there is very little chance it will need repairing at any stage in the foreseeable future. Coupled with the face you say you have mobile and 3G I don't see the problem. Like you say, it's not on your property so it has nothing to do with you really, aside from the fact that maybe one of those lines is yours (or is your place a an established place and you're more complaining about new construction connections around you?) As for the age of the box. It could just be old stock. there is a Telstra phone pit out the front of my place and it had an old Telecom symbol on it. A branch snapped off a tree nearby and the cover cracked. It was replaced with an identical cover complete with "Telecom" symbol. Just old stock not used. I tend to agree with Ikon that you seem to be the only vandal in this situation. It's like copying a break and enter pattern that has happened in the area to get the police to do something. JUST NOT HELPFUL. If it were to get cut, you'd be causing more issues for the people on this forum waiting for Telstra hooking their house by wasting their time. Firstly, It is a brand new connection for my new house. Neighbours line is also shared in the same box. Why shouldn't I be concerned? I actually see vandalism occurring down my street and have called the police, but they are not even interested anyway - seriously. Secondly, I wouldn't attempt to interfere with any of the carriers equipment. I'm purely venting my frustration on the issue. I have since then taken a drive around the metro area and seen that it is quite common. (Although most of those were to old houses) Finally, I am simply over it. It's a month old issue for me now. Over and out.
I need to replace the worn mohair seal on my sliding window, but I can't get access to the end to slide the old one out & push the new one in. I could probably rip the old… 0 5177 Thanks Simon, I guess I'm no concerned with the volume of the noise rather that dead and hollow sound and feel that is associated with floating floors. But I'm not sure… 3 6112 |
