Browse Forums Home Theatre & Automation 1 Oct 07, 2010 10:29 am We currently have a small LCD TV in our bedroom which I would like to shift into the front sitting room (which currently has no TV or antenna point). To do this I would like to mount the TV on the wall with an arm bracket that can angle the TV when in use, and push it flat against the wall when not in use (as the spot will be close to the corner of the room). In doing this, is there any way that we can hide the power and antenna cables so that they won't be seen when it's flat against the wall? I realise we can get the plugs put in behind the TV, but is there some sort of retractable cabling that will allow the TV to be pulled out when in use, and not be seen hanging behind the TV when it's flat? Also any idea of cost involved in doing this (bracket, plugs, cables, etc)? I hope that makes sense! If there is a post already discussing this just point me in the right direction. Thanks, Rachel. Couldn't find the trimmer - not sure if there isn't one simply because the eave is so narrow. Went ahead with the spring toggles and it all worked out… 7 5860 Thank you again Simeon.. I will call my certifier for that. Have a good day 4 5179 Thanks for the insights, that makes perfect sense, and yeah, I will be leaning on the experience of the excavator operator entirely. 6 16122 |
