Browse Forums Home Theatre & Automation 1 Aug 08, 2010 10:29 am Hi Pro, I would like to connect two pairs of ceiling speakers to Samsung CT-C5500. However, I just realised they are not in the same head therefore I couldn't connect those ceiling speakers. Can anyone help me with that? I don't want to waste my ceiling speakers. Thank you so much for your help in advance!!! Or are you thinking of replacing 4 of the existing speakers (the front pair and the surround pair) with the In-ceilings? Re: connecting ceiling speakers to Samsung HT-C5500 5Aug 10, 2010 1:39 pm Thanks for your replies. I have found out the below picture that can help you to understand what I meant. My question is: how can we plug the speaker cables (from my ceiling speakers) into the product (Samsung HT-C5500)? Hope you understand my questions. Thanks. Speaker wire is speaker wire - it must have 2 conductors (+ & -). Most use a 'side-by-side' or 'figure 8' type speaker cable but some (eg. Bose) use coaxial wire, but it still has 2 conductors. You simply cut the existing Samsung wire (that came with the system) somewhere and splice/join on some standard speaker wire to run up to the In-ceiling speakers. P.S. I saw the above picture in the PDF manual I downloaded before I replied earlier...
