Browse Forums Home Theatre & Automation 1 Jun 03, 2010 1:02 pm Hi Guys, I'll be going through electricals appointment soon and my intention is to have Data, TV and hopefully A/V and multi-room audio streaming to bedrooms, main lounge and HT. Thanks to all here for the hints and tips!! All this will be from a central point in a storage room under the stairs, which opens up in the garage. My concern is that this is also the best location for the big Vacuum system which will be ducted to a couple of places on top and ground floor. Do you think that the operation of the vacuum will affect the Data/AV/Audio because it's in the same little space? How much interference by the motor could be transferred onto the data lines? Is there any way I can shield the two? Thanks for your thoughts. Normally I err on the side of "it will be so negligible that I wouldn't worry about it", but in this case if it was me I wouldn't do it... Hi all, sorting out the ducted air con for a 350sqm double story house. Does this placement sound reasonable to you? Also, I plan to have 6 zones I think.
