Entry Doors To Theatre

In the last lot of pics people were asking about the doors to the home theatre room so here they are!

Open: The door pictured locks in at the top and the other door closes into it.

Vanderlay,

I'm having trouble visualising how your doors work. Does one close onto the other?

Is it possible to get a view at the same point as the first photo with the door halpf open and fully open?

Love the colours to Vanderlay, looking good ....... The doors are the same as my current doors for the theatre room, only my doors are 1 1/2 door closed. I don't have two full doors because of the oppening that was already there.....

The only other pic I have is this one half open: The right door locks into the frame at the top, the L door closes onto the right one and is help by the "lip"
coming off the L door and of course the handle opens and closes like normal

Don’t know about anyone else…..but that last photo is excellent!!!!

Look how the kitchen cupboard front complements the Home Theatre Room’s wall’s, and the floor tiles flow from both!!

Good photo vanderlay….for my eye anyway!!! Nice job!!!!

And a confession - that home theatre colour was selected from the tiny square in the wattyl brochure :shock:

Was the only colour in the house we didnt see "in real life"! :shock:

It’s a stunning colour!

And I can pretty much say…. no matter how big the paint swatch is, you will either like a colour that depth or not! So in your case you were both very open for a dramatic look.

Good choice!

Anyone else got photos like vanderlay’s last one?

He has taken the photo threw nearly 3 rooms, and has given a great prospective of colour selections. These are the photos I enjoy looking at!

By the way Michelle, here is the kitchen with splashback I was asking you about!

Its looks much more "white" when lit - the light under the cabinets arent installed yet!

I love the contrast of the deep grey laminate and the white stone tops……
Did you put some feature cupboards up top?

How long before you’re in your home?

I want LOTS of photos posted! Your home has seemed to move the fastest?? I think, it seems that way to me!

We are due for handover 22/10 - sometime they push the date back though!! (depends on how much they have to fix!) We are getting an independant inspection tomorrow (Kevin - as reccomended by Matt and others) so will be interesting to see what he says.

We will have been going 16 weeks tomorrow, and are pretty happy with the speed. We had our slab poured on the same day as Rellie and are slightly ahead of her

(But they took longer to get our slab down to begin with!!)

I remember that…we were all laughing and making jokes about your sheep….or someone’s sheep in the background!!!

16 weeks…..that went fast!

So…..NEWS YEARS EAVE PARTY at your new house then??

Yes, we cant even see the sheep anymore

Because the dog that owns the land behind us has put up a BIG, HIGH, UGLY colourbond fence :evil:

Im sure we can put in some plants etc so it doesnt look so bad- but it destroys our view, and SOOOOOO out of character for the area!! :evil:

it makes our yard look small....

HEY - The forum censors things - I wrote B/TCH in that sentance!!!! It comes up with DOG!!

I wrote B*** the other day and it came out as DOG….well nearly there anyway!! :shock:

About the fence….your neighbour hasn’t found out about this forum has he…..??????????

He might be getting tired of doing a sheep headcount!!

I've read that dark paint on walls highlights any imperfections tenfold - Vanderlay are you happy with your walls? I really want some dark feature walls but am worried about regretting it later.

Yeah, we are happy with how they look. They have been a touch messy where around the cornices and skirtings which we will be asking to be fixed. The walls look good except they need re-doing where they lent some doors against them :evil:

. Hopefully the re-touching wont be obvious!
