Alternatively should I just have a 50mm conduit all the way to the roof space until Its worked out just exactly what I need? no need for conduit if you have "straight" drilled holes going to each area you may want to improve later on, as long as it si single story house but if it is two story and then maybe conduits with pul ropes but if you put enough cable in to start with.... other then upping to cat6a and at $3.60/m compared to around $1/m it is up to you....
