Browse Forums Home Theatre & Automation 1 Sep 18, 2007 5:58 pm I bought a 32" Palsonic LCD about 6 months ago (yeah I know cheaper version but was all I really wanted to spend at the time).. It was from JB HiFi
I now want to mount it to the wall but am having huge problems finding a bracket to suit.. So far I have tried 2 "universal" brackets that are 'guarenteed to fit', but to no avail.. Any suggestions as to what I may need, and where I could get it?? Re: Palsonic LCD TV - Trying to find wall bracket 3Sep 18, 2007 7:01 pm mcreidy,
measure the holes centre to centre left to right and up and down: eg. * <---100mm---> * ^ 75mm v * I will let you know what available. It should be a vesa mount but it could be 100x200 or 200 x 75 or something weird like that! Thats a 100 x100 vesa mount gone wrong. ![]() You will need to elongate the2 of the holes of a 100 x100 bracket and use some washers to fill the gaps. Ebay is your friend on this one. Yep - went to JB and the same guy that sold me the LCD 6 months ago said, and I quote " that's a pretty random brand dude, where'd you get that" As you can imagine I didn't quite know what to say.. He told me that he may be able to help me out if I give him the dimensions!!! Re: Palsonic LCD TV - Trying to find wall bracket 8Sep 19, 2007 10:29 am Thanks for your help Matt - have looked on Ebay and there are so many models to look at.> Can you please tell me if this is suitable: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SELBY-PLASMA-BRA ... dZViewItem Re: Palsonic LCD TV - Trying to find wall bracket 9Sep 19, 2007 11:14 am "JB" gotta lovem... might be cheap... but there is a reason for that I suppose.... not the best after sales service... especially when they are shocked themselves that you bought such a model...... only reading between the lines........ The LCD itself is fine - quite good for the price actually - I am really not a huge home theatre user, just general TV and movie watching with a HD box - it's all good.. But the after sales service.. Well, that's a whole other story!!! Re: Palsonic LCD TV - Trying to find wall bracket 12Sep 19, 2007 11:43 am What about just making up your own aluminium bracket... Mount one ot the wall and screw another to the back of the plasma and attach the two. Not so helpful if you want to slide it up and down though..... Re: Palsonic LCD TV - Trying to find wall bracket 13Sep 20, 2007 8:28 am Slow down guys.
The easiest thing to do is as Matt suggested. Get a standard 100 x 100 vesa mount LCD bracket (or one that has a plate at least big enough to cover your holes) and either elongate the existing holes or drill your own. We've had to drill our own holes in brackets many times to suit many different applications. It's no big deal - it doesn't weaken anything or make it any less reliable. it will depend on the weight of the bag, анд the style of the mounting bracket. you'd need to ensure that the weight of the bag, with a kid (or an adult) that decided… 3 2276 We assist homeowners and suppliers to industry investigate the credentials, reputation & credit rating of pool builders.
