Are there any real differences between a $40 cable and a $180 cable?
I'm looking at a 10 meter cable and dont want to lose quality due to a crappy cable, but nor do I want to be screwed either.
Thanks,

As soon as I swapped the cable for a Selby one (P.S. Ugly=Selby) - which in my opinion are also still very affordable compared to big brands like Monster, the problem was fixed straight away with the Selby cable. A 10m HDMI cable for $30 is cheap cheap - I personally wouldn't trust it... I'd suggest the cheap HDMI are not HDMI certified and are probably made in China or similar intellectual property/standards ignorant country. They may carry the term, but from China that doesn't mean much. |
