Need some help!!
We are looking to upgrade our 8 year old 80cm Panasonic tv! It's been great but sick of not being able to see the side of movies
Anyway, we have narrowed it down to two LCD: The Sony Z series 46" and a Schaub Lorenz 46" available through BPP. The Samsung is no good as we have full windows, and the samsung has a glass coating.
The Z series is 200Hz but has the speakers on the side whilst the W series and the Schaub Lorenz has the speakers at the bottom. We won't be getting any extra speakers as I want my kids to be able to sleep in our little house...
Also the Schaub Lorenz has a three year warranty and is also MPEG 4 compliant and has individual tuning, but is only a 100Hz but a great matt screen which doesn't glare at all!
Confused and at the end of the day - what really matters given we've happily watched our old TV all these years, I guess we just want value for money.
Any help or clarity would be great. (I won't even start on the fact DH is looking at the 52" inch!!).
Thanks
M
