Browse Forums Home Theatre & Automation Re: Just wall mounted my 42" LCD. 4Nov 02, 2009 8:17 am I looked at the swivel, but I couldn't see how being able to watch the tv from the dining room would be seen as a "good thing" by my wife... We just got the 15 degree tilt one. Four wheels moves the body, two wheels moves the soul. I got the shock of my life when my wife mentioned that she'd like to park a car in the garage. Re: Just wall mounted my 42" LCD. 5Nov 03, 2009 10:54 pm thats great!...good height too. Where did you get the bracket from? Re: Just wall mounted my 42" LCD. 6Nov 04, 2009 7:21 am It was $198 from Bunnings. Came with the fittings and the wall bracket has a built in spirit level. Genius! As long as you can find studs, it's a breeze to put on, took me and a girlfriend of my wife about 90 mins. What sucks now is the LG tv is in for warranty work.... Re: Just wall mounted my 42" LCD. 7Nov 04, 2009 8:59 am Wow! Built in spirit level! I went to Selby Acoustics yesterday and picked up a couple of wall brackets with the 15 degree tilt. . . must've been bargain basement as they were only $65 each then I got 10% off as I bought stuff for over $250 (and they certainly didn't have a spirit level built in!). Poor old Justin worked whilst we enjoyed the ponies! Glad you liked my brackets Also you better look again ... if they were black they should have the built in level Re: Just wall mounted my 42" LCD. 11Nov 04, 2009 11:24 pm Well bloody hell. . . so they do! I was just expecting them to have no bells and whistles as they were so bloody CHEAP!!!!! Sorry Dale & Bron, looks like I got the bargain! Well Matt, Justin was very helpful, cleared up a few bits of bad advice I'd had about setting up a few ceiling speakers around the house and how to amplify the signal to get to them. Had a good old chat. Though you do need to give the bloke that was there on Saturday a few lessons on how to get things back in the box! Obviously he never worked on a production line in a factory! Hopefully you won a bit of moolah! Actually, we learn't about the Banksmeadow shop from this website. . . haha. . . it was probably a bit of self promotion on your part! Good onya. . . We were in a very expensive hifi shop on the weekend and he was telling us that to get decent speaker cable you have to pay over $10 a metre (if I remember rightly). He said that if you're getting copper then oxygen free is a must (otherwise the copper will oxidise over time). . . so I popped over to your place and got the AWG12 stuff for $2 a metre! Beauty! Re: Just wall mounted my 42" LCD. 13Dec 11, 2009 7:47 pm gully I like the fact you used trunking to hide the cables rather than holes in the walls... so much easier!!! i didnt even notice it there until you mentioned it, i then went back & had a look it blends in very neat cheers rocket Hello everyone, I have a question regarding moving a chandelier after it has been mounted. The chandelier in question is quite large, measuring 4 meters… 0 72342 Thank you again Simeon.. I will call my certifier for that. Have a good day 4 5197 Thanks for the insights, that makes perfect sense, and yeah, I will be leaning on the experience of the excavator operator entirely. 6 16159 |
