I am just wondering what would be the best size TV. My husband wants a 58inch bt I am worried this is a bit of overkill. Any ideas would be great, he wants to buy it today! If you sit over 4m back then 58" will not be too big, but if you are closer than 4m then some may feel it is too big (I just upgraded to a 50" from a 42" as my new rumpus has me sitting 4-4.5m back and it looks good, but I don't know if I'd want a 58" in it's place...). It is a taste thing too... Re: Best size TV for this room? 3Sep 28, 2009 10:49 am If the aesthetics of a large TV in the room are a worry for you then maybe think twice about a 58" model because it'll be a big of glass in the room. If however that isn't a concern (and it shouldn't be! ) then you will be surprised at how quickly you will get used to the size. For the first week or two it'll seem huge but you will rapidly adjust. The only issue will be that at 58" any deficiencies in the picture, either from limitations in the source material or lack of ability of the TV itself, will become glaringly obvious. So make sure that in the shop you like the picture and aren't just dazzled by the size (and the overblown oversaturated cartoon-ish colours that the shopfloor model will undoubtably be set to). Dear Members I have to decide the Facade column size. My custom builder standard is 350mm with rendering, but i asked for 470mm plus stone or tiles and yet to get… 0 4291 All sorted guys. Just needed to buy a blade with the correct bush. Dunno how to delete this post, can't find any help file. Cheers. 1 2811 Current door width is approx 2700, looking to have double doors fitted 820-820. What size does the frame need to be before door jamb? Thanks 0 2328 |
