I have absolutely no idea what to look for when choosing a telly for the bedroom wall.
I am after one that can be wall mounted and flat. I would like to watch movies etc on this.
Any help on what to look for would be appreciated.

I would suggest a 68cm widescreen lcd (26") with a wall mount bracket.
The antenna could be connected from inside the wall and the power cable run inside the wall to a power point located away from the set.
Should be able to do tis for under $1000 if you shop around...

Just make sure you are happy with the size if going for the 68cm widescreen. Widescreen (16:9) looks much smaller against equivalent normal screen (4:3). Try to get the 2 ratios side by side to know what to expect. It is hard to jdge sizes in the shop due to the lack of reference points that you would normally have in your home.
