Any ideas for hiding a roof mounted projector and screen? Would be nice to not see them at all when they arent being used, but even just making them less noticable would suffice. Has anyone tried doing this before? cheers Re: Ideas for hiding projector screen. 2Jun 13, 2007 11:35 pm LP morgan have some awesome ideas in this area:

Re: Ideas for hiding projector screen. 8Jun 15, 2007 2:00 pm ![]() Allow around $1200 for the screen hideaway and up to $3000 for the proj. Thanks for the info. Does this includes the screen and projector itself, or just the cost for the hiding material/equipment and installation? I guess also need to add a few power points in the ceiling as well? I have a $100 mount that I got at the time I brought the projector. Any issues with this?

In the last house (pics above) it was dual pourpose so i had to be able to hide it, in the new house it is a dedicated room so it will all be on display.. ![]() Re: Ideas for hiding projector screen. 13Jun 15, 2007 10:47 pm ![]() Nope just the devices for hiding away and installation!! lol ![]() Wow, that's a bit higher than I expected. Thanks for the information. Will need to wait and see how the construction goes first. The hide away of the screen is definitely a must have. One more question, if I install the hide away screen + projector after the house is finished, will there be big difference in the installation cost? Assuming I got all the wiring and power points done during the construction. I need to sort out the priorities based on the budget, Plasma first then the projector+screen. I t takes up a lot of space and depending on which way your trusses run it may be easier and more structurally sound to "frame it in" before the plaster goes up! The projector hideaway is the same! If you are just mounting the proj. ot the roof then it makes no difference! You have no photo with your post. Best I can say is to remove an A&L flyscreen don't be afraid to distort the frame almost like a trapezium. It doesn't take a lot of… 1 3163 ![]() 2 1669 How about some decorative film on the window?
