Browse Forums Home Theatre & Automation 1 Sep 14, 2009 6:09 pm I just installed some 12AWG Selby speaker cable (we are at framing stage) setup for 5 in-wall/in-ceiling speakers that I am yet to purchase. I've run it away from power cables and through the noggins etc. Was soooo much easier to do than my previous efforts installing after the house was built. The question is do I need to twist the cable or will that make absolutely no difference ? Anyone have any experience with this ? My previous install was not twisted and I had no problems. The longest runs I have are to the two rear ceiling speakers - they are about 7m runs (if you include the 2.8m up the front wall). Ta.
