If you would like a faster upload speed, it may pay to check the business plans offered by the various providers who cover your address. Don't forgot, currently it is easy in Australia to acquire an ABN if being able to quote your ABN is important. Installtion methods, how brittle it is and such too many other variants to list really. i personally know that the **** black cable form the 1970's doesn't like adsl2 signals neither does 1950's lead lined stuff aswell. most cablers use Cat5e for lead in cables from the NTD to any first point and barely use internal phone wiring (cat3) anymore if they don't have to Kodiak Data Cabling onFaceBook Consult*, Design and Installation Data, TV, Home Theatre/ AV Cabling, Multi Room Audio, IP CCTV and Door Intercoms Ask for a Quote. *DIY DATA Cabling Is Ilegal Re: ADSL 1500KB Speed 9Sep 25, 2009 1:41 am We are on 9500/250(this is average speeds), we absolutely love it and are not looking forward to crossing over to wireless when our house is finished. Because of the way TCP/IP works, you will not be able to aggregate different gateways without the cooperation of your ISPs and the use of special routers. This level of support is normally only available for the big boys paying lots of money and not on ADSL type connections. Hence, you would not be able to use this approach to download a large video file quicker, for example. Multiple gateways can be combined so that different TCP/IP sessions use the different links. Hence, you could download a video using Virgin Media whilst downloading another video using BT. This method provides automatic failover if one link goes down. There are a number of commercially available solutions, such as PowerLink and ClariLink. Try googling those.
