If I plan to have a projector screen installed in the future, how big can I install and facing which wall? 2. We are in a single level house, is it easy to run the cabling afterwards... can I do that myself? 3. The wall sharing to Bed 4, is 70mm thick.. is putting acoustic batts enough to "lessen the impact of sound to that room? I know it won't be sound proofed. 4. Any suggestions on how to set up HT in this kind of room.. am running out of ideas. 1. I guess you could put the projector screen anywhere (or even a drop down one in front of a window). My biggest concern would be the position of the speakers as it won't be a rectangular room (I assume you can't build that wall out square?). One of the expert on here could probably fill you in on that. 2. Depends on where you put everything. External walls are easy to run wires down as they have a cavity. If you will need to run anything down the internal wall (ie the bedroom room), you won't be ale to do it later without some plaster patching required. 3. Once again, better left for the experts. If you are considering a theatre in the future however I would put some soundcheck on that wall now in order to assist with any sound deadening. 4. How are you aiming to close off this room ? Do you have a full house plan to see how the loungeroom integrates with the rest of the house (as you think this may be an option) ?
