G'day All,
been doing a bit of reading and chatting to a number of people but don't seem to be able to get a definitive answer so hope people can help.
I see it recommended to add at least 2 Cat 5 runs and one RG6 run to each entertainment point.
I want to have 2 foxtel boxes, a DVD and a PC feeding to 3 points around the house and have any point be able to access and device.
Now the question I have is if I want to distribute HD Foxtel what benefit will the RG6 give me ? how do I terminate it ? would I not be better
just using Cat5 Video Extenders like those available at Jaycar ?
Cheers,
Matt
