Browse Forums Home Theatre & Automation 1 Jul 27, 2009 2:21 pm Hi all, I will be needing IR extender for my new home and I'm not really sure of what equipment are needed. The extender needs to receive signals from three different places (the projector screen, the family room, and the master bedroom) and emit them into a central point where all the equipment will be hosted. My concerns are, 1. What kind of receiver should I use for the projector screen ? 2. Will those tiny rectangular shape receivers sold at Selby be efficient if I stick them under the TV ? 3. Will 1 box be enough to support the three rooms ? How do I split the signal from the single box shown in Selby's ? 4. Do these extenders extend the range of the Xbox 360 controllers ? If not, then is there an alternative solution to use the Xbox 360 controller in the family ? Please see the attached image ..
