Browse Forums Home Theatre & Automation 1 Apr 08, 2009 10:04 am Gday guys, I have been following this forum for a while now and am planning to set up a basic home network when our home is completed later this year. I have put a phone jack on the wall where the TV and receiver will go so I can hardwire the PS3 to the internet. My current wireless router has 10/100M speed Lan ethernet. I plan to add a NAS drive with DLNA so I can stream video/music from it through to my PS3. I was wondering if it would be better to upgrade the router so that it has 10/100/1000M? Or do you think it will run fine with what I have? Or am I totally doing things wrong? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Ryan Ryan Building Vancouver 33 - My Thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89689 Re: PS3 network streaming/cabling question 2Apr 08, 2009 10:08 am Ryan Oliver Gday guys, I have been following this forum for a while now and am planning to set up a basic home network when our home is completed later this year.
