Re: power (w) of the speakers 5Mar 27, 2009 10:02 pm kikin mattwalker It depends on which amplifier you are running, how many zones and how load you want it to be. I will have two zones. One in master room and another one in kitchen. Ok so you will want an amp that is around 70-80 watts ... kikin by the way, what size should I have on speakers if I setup for 2 zones only? 6" or 8" or else? also, what is "2-way" or "3-way" speakers meaning? too many choices....getting headache I am always a fan of the 8" speakers. They give a 'truer' sound reproduction and give a fuller sound. 2 way or 3 way in this form of speaker makes very little difference. Re: power (w) of the speakers 9Mar 28, 2009 10:46 pm Find out a brand kikin...hard to judge without that Re: power (w) of the speakers 10Apr 01, 2009 9:34 pm mattwalker Find out a brand kikin...hard to judge without that finally, I got the brand name for the ceiling speakers. It is called Kordz KC-80G2 80W. Is $330 reasonable for a pair of ceiling speakers? Metricon Amira Re: power (w) of the speakers 11Apr 01, 2009 9:39 pm Thats expensive!! There are much better brands out there for that money! Re: power (w) of the speakers 12Apr 02, 2009 1:27 am mattwalker Thats expensive!! There are much better brands out there for that money! I agree. For that sort of money - well a couple of dollars more perhpas, you can get a REAL brand like Paradigm (Kordz is a local brand that gets stuff OEM'd in Asia - like Selby but more expensive...) Would also like an opinion from anyone that has used xcem over hebel for floors.
