Regards Andrew Re: Marantz sr8500 any good&What should i expect to pay 2Mar 26, 2009 11:29 pm Hi Andrew1977au, I have a just over 1 year old Marantz SR7001 I am looking to move on. Would be willing to look at offers ... a quick hunt around will tell you what its worth. If you are in Melbourne I would be happy to demo it to you and offer a 6 month warranty with it. There are lots of reasons to buy this over an 8500 (HDMI is the big one, but also DOLBY TRUE HD and DTSHD...Upconverting of all signals to 1080P etc etc) http://www.qualifi.com.au/index.jsp?referrer=72159§ion=brands&page=product_detail&product=53366 Cheers, Matt Re: Marantz sr8500 any good&What should i expect to pay 3Mar 26, 2009 11:53 pm Hey Matt, thanks for your reply, i did look at your amp in the forsale section, but i'm thinking it might be out of my price range, at this point in time i can only afford to spend $500-$600 on an amp, hence why i was looking at older models, i'd love to have something that supports proper hdmi! Regards Andrew Re: Marantz sr8500 any good&What should i expect to pay 4Mar 27, 2009 10:38 am Hi Andrew. How much did you think the SR-8500 would go for? Brand new (3 years ago) it was a $3500-$4000 RRP amp... If you can get one of those (if you aren't fussed about being able to do HDMI switching etc. and decode the new HD audio formats) for $500-$600 it could well be the audio bargain of the year! Hi Mofflepop, I would recommend finding a building designer to prepare plans, they should design to your specified budget. The benefit is you can tender the project out… 9 20413 i imagine you also have another contract with an architect? and yeah, whatever other's said about special conditions and appendices 16 16007 hey there! π so, itβs kinda common for standard drawer depths to be around 500mm since most cabinets use this size to fit the usual runners… 3 20909 |
