good point. I know it is not brick, but some kind of timber sheet. had a look at my drawings, it says "F.C. Sheet Lining with timber strapping at 1200 CTS max". Not sure what it is though.

Luckily the home theatre and upstairs living room are positioned at the rear of the house, so there is no need to run the cable across the house. The red cross is where the hole and wall plate should be, and it should come out right next to the TV.
Anyway, decided to put in starserve then later I realise that the HDTV ready picture in the brochure means only the HD FTA, not the modulated signal
Now, if say I have PS3 in the home theatre, will the controller still works upstairs? anyone knows if there is any repeater for the PS3 bluetooth signal?

My xbox 360 controller works at 10-15m Bluetooth has a slightly longer range so it should be ok.
