I have been looking at Home Entertainment Network to allow the control of devices (DVD, Sat, etc). I was looking at a StarServe Pro Package but it does not look very flexible in terms of using RG6 and Cat5e. One for LAN/Phone and the other for Video/Audio. I found another system called LexCom which offers the same but having the flexibility of using a Cat7 Cable for all TV, DVD, PayTV, Phone, Audio, etc. It also looks very flexible and similar in costs to the StarServe System but with greater advantage of allowing you to use any port for any function (I can turn a TV Port into a Phone Port). Has anyone had any dealings with the LexCom System? Re: LexCom - Good or Not so Good? Does anyone use this system? 3Jan 29, 2009 4:02 pm Hi Perryr,
I read through your blog. Very informative. Can I ask, did you install it yourself or did you get an electrician to install the system, to get the warrenty? Also how much did it cost you for the full system including install, if you paid someone? That sucks! Hope it all works out. Good to move away from steel anyway for all your reasons, but it's also thermally poor. 16 17856 If what you describe is correct then the brick wall has been dry lined with villa board.
