Projector wise I am probably going with the new sanyo z3000 but it is about the 3.5k mark.. so not sure what the lower res ones are like pricewise. Also have you budgeted for a screen? or are you just going to have it projected on the wall? Thanks for your suggestion For the screen, I found it is not too expensive even the motorised one which costs about $400 on ebay I probably go with the motorised one Metricon Amira Re: $2000 budget of my home theatre choice 6Jan 27, 2009 5:22 am Just wondering whats this 2 in 1 out thing you mentioned on the yamaha set up?
I am buying a panasonic plasma and was going to connect it too my old panasonic 5.1 system. Dont think this has HDMI things in it though. Am I better to buy a system with these slots in to go with a plasma or stick to my old one? All this technology is new too me and I'm still trying to come to grips with what it all means Know where your going in life............... you may already be there Re: $2000 budget of my home theatre choice 7Jan 27, 2009 10:14 pm Taffy Just wondering whats this 2 in 1 out thing you mentioned on the yamaha set up? To answer your question, "This receiver features dual HDMI inputs and one output that can handle HD format including 720p, 1080i and 1080p so users can connect two HDMI sources, such as a DVD player and a HD set top box and enjoy the highest possible quality with HD display". In short, it also handled HDMI video from 2 sources to output to 1 source. Source: http://www.yamahamusic.com.au/products/ ... 95_NPB.pdf Coming back to your old stomping grounds, huh?
