First I removed the old LCD and put it back on its original stand... ***tip: Never throw away or dispose of your TV stands if you wall mount a TV as you may need it again someday*** Then I mounted the new bracket (as pictured above) in a similar location. Pop the TV brackets on and drop it onto the bracket and hey presto you have this: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Looking down the side wall (nothing to see here!!) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And the other side wall: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And you may notice this from the last photo...it 'was' silver! This is the little infra red receiver that allows me to keep just the TV here and all the other gear in another room! A quick coat of satin black spray paint fixed that Behind the TV: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The kids are pretty happy as they now have the old LCD in their play area! That little thingy - could that enable the watching of stuff on the HD recorder that's connected to the lounge telly on the TV in the bedroom fairly easy ?. what type of remote ext are you using i am currently using a genuine ftel one on our second tv and is very very particular on were you point remote can be a real pain at times?
